The Bayshore Experience. It’s not just another shopping trip. Guests can spend time enjoying Wisconsin’s newest retail and entertainment destination. The 45-acre complex features 1.2 million square feet of retail, restaurant, office and residential space. For those seeking a more relaxing pace there’s bowling, movies, and ample settings to just sit back and enjoy a cool beverage for a leisurely afternoon. Lunch and transportation will be provided. Milwaukee Art Museum and Pier Wisconsin.
Registered guests (no young children please) will take a
short bus ride to Milwaukee’s famous lakefront and explore
the first Calatrava-designed building to be completed in
the US. The Quadracci Pavilion features a 90-foot high
glass-walled reception hall enclosed by the Burke Brise
Soleil, a sunscreen that can be raised or lowered creating
a unique moving sculpture.
After the museum, guests will venture on to Discovery World
at Pier Wisconsin, where science, discovery, creativity,
ingenuity, adventure and technology inspire visitors to
turn their dreams into reality. Discovery World offers a
large variety of educational, cultural and environmental
programs for visitors of all ages. These programs include
hands-on exhibits, fresh water and salt aquariums,
interactive educational programs, state of the art media
and distance learning labs, digital theaters, and live
performance theater.
